COMPETITOR BIRTHYEAR CATEGORIES:
U20: 19 years of age / 2006 birth year
U19: 17-18 years of age / 2007-2008 birth year
U17: 15-16 years of age / 2009-2010 birth year
U15: 13-14 years of age / 2011-2012 birth year
U13: 12 years of age or under / 2013 or later birth year

VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers Needed: Judges, Lead Belayers, Top Rope Belayers, General Helpers
Volunteers receive XYZ
Volunteer must be at least 16+ years of age.
Belayers must be certified at Gecko. Come early to test out with a Gecko Staff Member and attend the Chief Belayer Meeting.
FACILITY RULES
Climbing participants must have a facility waiver on file and watch our orientation video HERE before competing.
No food or drink on the climbing pads.
Respect others, yourself and our facility. Be kind and have fun!
WAIVER
PLEASE COMPLETE YOUR GECKO WAIVER COMPLETED IN ADDITION TO YOUR USAC EVENT REGISTRATION.
Parents start by creating their parent profile in our customer portal (https://gecko.portal.approach.app/)
Then add their child(ren) to their household. Then sign the waiver on their behalf.
If you are having issues using your phone to register, we recommend using a desktop computer as our mobile platform requires you to enable pop-ups for the waiver.
