Meet the Owners…
Chris and Cat Tansey met in 2011, where Cat asked Chris if she could come on one of his next outdoor climbing trips around Southern CA. After a few years of climbing and getting to know each other, they got married in 2013 and spent their honeymoon climbing Half Dome in Yosemite National Park. Both Chris and Cat are passionate about building stronger communities and supporting families. Catherine serves as a mental health professional and Chris served in youth ministries for about 15 years before deciding to go for it and start a climbing gym. Their dream of opening a climbing gym was realized in April, 2021 and they couldn’t be more grateful!
Ultimately, this climbing community is the result of many individuals and families who are passionate about climbing and pour their heart and soul into making Gecko amazing! You, yes YOU… you make Gecko amazing!! Thank you for being part of our community!
